Lets go on a treasure hunt to find The Six Forgotten Giants in the western municipalities of Copenhagen (Rødovre, Hvidovre, Vallensbæk, Ishøj, Albertslund and Høje Taastrup). All six sculptures were made from scrap wood with the help of local volunteers. The project wanted to bring art out of the museum, show the beautiful and often overlooked nature spots, and at the same time provide an exciting and different experience.
This is a chance for international people to see the Danish countryside and spend time with nature. All six giants are located in remote areas around Copenhagen, so this experience includes walking in fields to uncover the giants.
Thomas and his team have made many different sculptures from recycled materials and trash. They have specialized in making wooden sculptures from scrap wood, such as "Hector Protector" and "Troels The Troll," but they also have had great experience with making sculptures from other materials such as plastic and even cardboard.
